Druid Transportation is licensed with HCPF/BHA to provide Behavioral Health Secure Transportation (BHST) in Colorado. We move people between jails, courts, hospitals, shelters, detox and treatment, voluntarily or on an M-1 hold, day or night.

What we transport
We handle both voluntary and involuntary transportation, including clients on an M-1 hold. We provide service statewide, depending on the specific needs and circumstances of each trip.
Trips like these used to be handled by law enforcement. Behavioral Health Secure Transportation (BHST) was established to take them over, and that is the work we are licensed to do.
To and between treatment centers, shelters and detox facilities
Pickups from home, shelters, emergency hospitals and acute treatment centers, with drop-offs at hospitals, detox facilities, shelters and treatment centers. One way or two way.
Between treatment centers
Moves from one treatment center to another as a person changes level of care.
From detention centers, jails and courts to treatment centers
Transportation for people leaving custody and going to a treatment center.
Court-ordered competency evaluation transportation
Secure transport for court-ordered competency evaluations, including runs to the Colorado Mental Health Hospitals in Pueblo and Fort Logan.
Voluntary and involuntary transport, including M-1 holds
We transport people who agree to go and clients on an M-1 hold.
Funding that keeps trips moving
Many people who need a ride to treatment are uninsured, underinsured or do not have Medicaid. Our state BHASO contracts help close that gap.

As part of these state contracts, we also transport people who are uninsured, along with those who are underinsured or do not have Medicaid.
No eligibility request
We give service without requesting eligibility, so a referral does not stall on paperwork.
No mileage cap
We actively transport to detox and treatment centers with no cap on mileage.
